Refund policy

1. Our Return Philosophy

At Jewel Standard House, we want you to love your preloved treasures.

          Because our items are vintage or previously owned, they carry a unique history and may show minor signs of character. We provide detailed photos and descriptions to ensure you know exactly what you are purchasing.

2. Return Window     We offer a 30-day return period.   
 
       • Notification: You must notify us of your intent to return within 30 days of receiving your item.     

       • Shipping: Once notified, you have an additional 3 days to ship the item back to us.
   
3. Conditions for Return: To be eligible for a full refund, the item must meet the following criteria:

       • Original Condition: The item must be returned in the exact condition it was received. We cannot accept returns on items that have been cleaned, polished, resized, or altered by a third party.
       • Security Tags: If your item arrived with a "void if removed" security tag, this tag must remain attached and intact.
       • Packaging: Please return the jewellery in its original presentation box and protective packaging to prevent damage during transit.

4. Non-Returnable Items

       • Custom/Resized Pieces: Any items that were specifically resized or customised at your request before shipping are final sale.

5. Refund Process

       • Inspection: Once we receive the item, our team will inspect it to verify its condition and authenticity.
       • Payment: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of receipt.
       • Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. For "change of mind" returns, the buyer is responsible for the return shipping cost.
